Easy Vanilla Ice-Cream

This is a classic homemade vanilla ice-cream recipe with no egg yolks.  Literally takes just minutes to make.

  1. Slice vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the caviar out.

  2. Add all ingredients (except vanilla pod) to a blender.  Blend until well-combined.
  3. Pour ice-cream base into a freezer-safe container, cover.  Freeze for 5 hours, or until frozen solid.

Tips

  • You can add 1/2 cup cacao powder and chocolate chips to make chocolate ice-cream.
  • Or blend in 1 to 2 cups fresh strawberries to make strawberries ice-cream.
  • Dont throw the scraped vanilla pod away!  Use them to make delicious vanilla sugar, vanilla syrup, vanilla milk, or vanilla sauce.
