Vanilla Sauce for Desserts

This is the easiest vanilla sauce recipe ever!  It contains only 3 ingredients and goes perfectly on just about any sweet like pancakes, waffles, bread puddings, fruits, and much more! 

Ingredients 

  • 1 A1 Vanilla organic vanilla bean
  • 480ml whipping cream
  • 65g sugar

Instructions 

  1. Slice vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the caviar out.

  2. Place all ingredients (including vanilla pod) in a saucepan, and bring to boil over medium heat.  Stir constantly. 
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue to cook.  Stir occasionally for 10-15 minutes until mixture thickens.
  4. Serve warm or slightly cool.  It will thicken as it cools.

Tips 

  • The sauce is good for a week when kept in the fridge in an airtight container. 
  • You can add 1 stick butter for a thicker, creamier consistency.
