With only a few ingredients, you can easily make delicious homemade vanilla syrup to flavor your coffee, tea, and even cocktails!
Ingredients
- 1 A1 Vanilla organic vanilla beans
- 300ml water
- 200g sugar
- 60g packed light brown sugar
Instructions

Slice vanilla beans lengthwise and scrape the caviar out.
- In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together all ingredients (including vanilla pods). Bring to boil then reduce heat.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Once syrup has cooled, pour syrup into a glass jar or bottle with lid.
- Store in fridge.
Tips
- Homemade vanilla syrup will keep in the fridge for about 1 week.
- You can add in empty vanilla pods left over from other recipes to intensify the flavor.
